Mythical Magic

Classical mythology holds a certain fascination for the adventurous and
the romantic.  Much of mythology allows us to connect with man who
lived in a time the world was young and there was a connection with the
earth, with the trees and seas and flowers and hills.  The real and unreal
are merged with little distinction.  Imaginations were vivid and often
without reason so it was not unusual to be riding through wooded area
and catch a glimpse of a wood fairy or to sail upon the seas, gently
escorted by a sea nymph.

Whatever the tale, whatever the story, mythological characters have a
uniform way of branding themselves on man's conscience forever.

Probably one of the best known characters from mythology is Eros, the son of Venus and god of LOVE.  Also known as Cupid, Eros spent his time piercing the hearts of lovers.  The delightful cherub and the incredibly handsome god of love still wends his way into the hearts of lovers across the world today.  Eros, himself, found his one true love in the mortal, Psyche.  Their tale of   everlasting and conquering love can be found on the next page.
